“I am so proud to be involved as an Ambassador of the Voice For The Horse Foundation. My entire life has been loving and living with horses. To me they are so much more intelligent and caring than humans. To look quietly into their eyes one has a wonderful close conversation, deep within both hearts, that can never be equalled with any other living thing.
I endorse our future years ahead for the Voice For The Horse Foundation initiating and involving both our younger and older generations to better understand and care for all horses and what it is they want to share with us”.
About Joy Richardson
A beloved friend to many, Joy Richardson became a very special person in the life of Yvonne Allen, the Founder of Voice For The Horse back in the mid 90’s. Having met Joy on one of her casual rides to Campbell Valley Park, more often than not Yvonne’s rides either started out from Joy’s farm (as Yvonne’s horse was stabled next door to Joy’s) or ended there. Yvonne’s inquiring mind kept Joy very busy reminiscing in her memories of her past where Yvonne over time, came to learn of Joy’s life and of all her trials and tribulations. Upon the evolvement of Voice For The Horse, it was a natural that Joy eagerly agreed to be an Ambassador of this newly found society. Joy and Yvonne travelled many places together dreaming and envisioning how we could become the global Voice For The Horse. With many years brainstorming together and with others, minimally we were able to via social media develop this presence. Now the work has just begun with a new online presence bringing forth our most honored work to the people and foremost the children of British Columbia. Joy would be so pleased today if she were here. In saying so, we know Joy knows we have evolved in this way! We miss her dearly and honor Joy as Ambassador forever of our newly evolving society.

Job 39:19-25
“Do you give the horse its strength or clothe its neck with a flowing mane? Do you make it leap like a locust, striking terror with its proud snorting? It paws fiercely, rejoicing in its strength, and charges into the fray. It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; it does not shy away from the sword. The quiver rattles against its side, along with the flashing spear and lance. In frenzied excitement it eats up the ground; it cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds. At the blast of the trumpet it snorts, ‘Aha!’ It catches the scent of battle from afar, the shout of commanders and the battle cry”.
