Yvonne Allen
Yvonne Allen is the founder of Voice for the Horse Society, a creative advocacy initiative centered on compassion, storytelling, and the enduring bond between horses and humans. Her work brings together children’s voices, music, and narrative to foster empathy, courage, and respect for both animals and people.
With a background in equine-assisted wellness and humane education, Yvonne has spent more than fifteen years developing creative projects that honor the wisdom of horses as teachers and companions. In 2017, she was inducted into the World Massage Festival Hall of Fame in Cherokee, North Carolina, recognizing her contributions to equine and therapeutic work. She is also a certified Virtues Project International Facilitator, supporting values-based learning and restorative conversations.
Today, Yvonne’s focus is on preserving and rebuilding the creative legacy of Voice for the Horse through music, children’s writing, and storytelling. She is currently developing new creative works, including a memoir exploring healing, friendship, and the horse–human bond, as well as a forthcoming novel.
Her work is guided by a simple belief: when we listen — to horses, to children, and to one another — meaningful change becomes possible.
