Yvonne Allen is the founder of Voice for the Horse Society, a creative advocacy initiative rooted in compassion, listening, and the enduring bond between horses and humans. Her work brings together music, storytelling, and creative expression to honor empathy, courage, and respect for both animals and people.

With more than fifteen years of experience in equine-assisted wellness and humane education, Yvonne has developed creative projects that recognize horses as teachers, companions, and mirrors of truth. Her approach is guided by relationship rather than instruction, and by the belief that meaningful change begins with listening.

In 2017, Yvonne was inducted into the World Massage Festival Hall of Fame in Cherokee, North Carolina, in recognition of her contributions to equine and therapeutic work.

She is also a certified Virtues Project International Facilitator, supporting values-based learning and restorative dialogue.

Today, Yvonne’s focus is on preserving and evolving the Voice for the Horse legacy through music, children’s writing, and storytelling. She is currently developing new creative works, including a memoir exploring healing, friendship, and the horse–human bond, as well as a forthcoming novel.

Her work is guided by a simple belief: when we listen — to horses, to children, and to one another — truth emerges, and lasting change becomes possible.
