Our journey continued to Ridgewood Ranch, California, home of the legendary Seabiscuit. In this special tribute video, Yvonne Allen visits the Seabiscuit Heritage Foundation to share the song Leading Your Way and to honor the people who have lovingly preserved Seabiscuit’s story.
Filmed among the ranch’s historic barns, rolling pastures, and the Howard House where Seabiscuit once lived, the piece captures the quiet beauty and reverence of a place where history still breathes. In this third segment of our Seabiscuit tribute series, Yvonne Allen welcomes Tom and Wilma Howard, family historians devoted to preserving the legacy of Seabiscuit, into her home for an intimate conversation about the champion’s enduring story.
Between recollections of race-day glory and quiet glimpses into Seabiscuit’s life at Ridgewood Ranch, the interview reveals the values that carried him into legend — humility, heart, and hope.
