A Song of Courage and Resilience
Stronger was produced before the launch of our first Children’s Writing Competition — a song born from vision and heart. Its message of resilience and courage seemed the perfect fit for a new creative purpose: to unite children’s voices with the spirit of the horse through music.
That inspiration became the foundation of what would later grow into The Leading the Change Music Project, where young writers and dreamers could bring their stories to life through song and video, guided by the wisdom of the horse.
The Stronger music video we created celebrates those voices — weaving together the children’s writings, their hearts, and our soundtrack into one shared expression of hope. It became clear that music would be our bridge between worlds — a way to inspire empathy, courage, and connection across generations.
“Through Stronger, we came to learn that music is more than just sound — it is emotion, the universal language that connects spirit to spirit, reminding us that kindness and courage are never lost in translation.”
The song marked the beginning of a movement — the moment when the horse found its voice through us. It was through our awareness, and the impact of what this new awareness brought to life, that Voice for the Horse became more than an idea — it became a calling.
The Wild Horse Stories e-Book is a companion collection created from the original children’s writings that inspired Stronger. These heartfelt stories were submitted by young writers from across Canada and the United States, reflecting how children listened, imagined, and gave voice to the horse — capturing themes of courage, freedom, empathy, and resilience.
As the stories arrived, it became clear that the call to listen reached beyond borders. Children from different regions and backgrounds responded to the same quiet invitation, offering perspectives shaped by place, experience, and imagination. Together, their words form a shared expression of connection between horses and the human spirit.
This e-book stands as a living example of how music, storytelling, and creativity can travel naturally — laying the groundwork for a writing movement that continues to grow through the Voice of Truth Children’s Writing Competition, open to young voices in Canada and beyond.
